About us
World Ocean Foundation™ is a solution and business oriented non-profit organization founded by Allegra Bassani Antivari and Mårten Hedlund.
Our clear mission is to make a noticeable difference to the world’s oceans until 2035. We want the future generation to experience healthy oceans and a life where the world’s oceans become as natural and inspiring an environment as it has been for ourselves.
To achieve the most impact, we will focus on supporting and highlighting research-supported projects that on a large scale change the situation we are in.
We work in collaboration with researchers, governmental institutions, other non-profit organizations, private sector and entrepreneurs.
Our projects are selected based on their cost efficiency and impact potential.
Financing and Attention
Luxurious lifestyle and sustainability is not contradictory. The foundation wants to show that it is very possible to combine an extraordinary lifestyle with a strong sense of responsibility
The World Ocen Foundation will own and lease two 40-meter-long Wally Yachts. These unique sailboats are some of the most luxurious and sustainable yachts in the world.
Renting the boats, together with funds from other co-founders and fundraisers, will be important for the foundation.

The goal is to allocate 100 million Euros by 2035 to research-supported projects that on a large scale change the situation in the world's oceans.
Our history
The World Ocean Foundation was founded in March 2021, with strategic programs designed to support sustainable change in how we use and care for the world’s oceans.
The founders have grown up in different ways in contexts where the oceans have added unique values to their lives. We want, together with influencers and other strong contributors, to give future generations the same opportunities.
There are many fantastic research projects and intentions to improve our climate and the conditions for wildlife, the world's oceans and our future.
The World Ocean Foundation ™️ will support and support the best initiatives until 2035.
Our Team
In parallel with the development of the foundation financially, we will develop the competence and knowledge that is available. We want to link the world’s best and most solution-oriented researchers to the foundation.
Every year at our large Foundrasing Gala, we will also elect crucial and competent people to the foundation's various advisory boards.
In addition, we will attract a younger generation of influencers with great knowledge and entrepreneurship. One of our most important efforts, in addition to implementing crucial efforts for the world's oceans, will be to spread the message.
